Jackson Taylor is a veteran of information technology project management and enterprise development, leveraging his experience in senior management positions with technology companies, investment institutions and service providers. Mr. Taylor's track record reflects considerable experience in corporate strategy, needs analysis, due diligence and contract negotiation. With direct involvement in over $200 million in private equity and debt financing he has intimate knowledge of financing structures and business agreements.

As a Partner at Milestone Equity Partners Mr. Taylor was the firm's lead for identifying emerging and viable technologies and technology companies, managing due diligence assets and negotiating agreements. His primary focus regarded investments in information technology to include telecommunications, network infrastructure, enterprise solutions, wireless services and data management solutions. Responsible for a portfolio of innovative companies, his focus was on implementing successful business strategy and providing guidance on all aspects of corporate development. Also while at Milestone he founded VT KnowledgeWorks, a major strategic initiative with Virginia Tech University to commercialize and develop the University's technical intellectual property. He has served on the Board of Directors of several private companies and the Virginia Business Incubation Association.

Prior to Milestone as Director of Business Development at visitalk.com, he was tasked with the capture and management of the company's most desired global clients and partners with a primary focus on major foreign telecommunications and Internet service providers. Mr. Taylor was also a key member of the company's financial team which secured $45 million in equity funding and negotiated terms for representation by Goldman Sachs & Company.

Jackson began his career with Wachovia Securities as a Client Executive in the firm's Private Banking Group structuring investment portfolios including equity, debt and derivative vehicles. In addition to serving corporate and private clients he conducted investment due diligence and portfolio analysis primarily in the technology arena.

He earned a Business Associate degree in Political Science and History at McDaniel College in 1990.
